🗂️ Planning - Projects

Project Creation Validations ☑️

Added strict validation rules to project creation. Users can no longer bypass mandatory fields such as Billing Contact and Rate Card. Validation errors will now correctly block saves if left blank.

Direct Workflow Controls on Listings 📋

Added a dedicated column (represented by three dots) on the Project Listing page. Users with "planning workflow" permissions can now execute automation workflows and rollouts directly from the list view without having to drill down into individual detail pages.

Overhauled Job Creation Buttons 🔘

Replaced the legacy single "Create Job" button in the top navigation with two distinct, self-explanatory options.

• Create Job Manually: Redirects users to the traditional manual details form.
   
• Create Job via Template:  Prompts users to select an agency, choose a template (currently supports single-template execution, with multi-template functionality coming soon), and specify the number of deliverables to create instantly.

Job Bulk Editing ✅

Introduced bulk editing. Users can select multiple jobs from the list and update fields (such as changing Status to "In Progress") in a single action.

Reason for Status Change Column ❓

Added a new column to track the rationale behind job status changes.

📅 Resource & Timezone Management

Timezones 🌏

Resource profiles now display their respective timezones directly alongside their names and roles.

Dynamic Calendar Adjustments 📅

The Resource Calendar grid now dynamically shifts and renders work hours according to each resource's native timezone, rather than relying solely on the logged-in user’s local time.

Seamless Non-Working Hours Bookings 👨🏼‍💻

Removed the restrictive checkbox previously required to schedule tasks during non-working hours. Users can now click directly on non-working hours to book a slot. Scheduled blocks now cleanly overflow into non-working times without fragmenting across multiple working days.

Repeated Bookings 🔁

Added a recurring task option. When creating a booking, users can check a repeat box, define the number of days (e.g., 3 days), and the system will duplicate the booking across those days while automatically skipping holidays.

🛠️ Site Administration

Rate Cards - Target Cost Field 💰

Exposed the "Target Cost" field on the Service Line modal on the frontend (previously restricted to backend values), allowing administrators to set and update these values dynamically.

Expanded Service Line Categories 📈

The service line category selector has been upgraded to a Type-Ahead search field, with support expanded from 5 categories to 100 categories (designed specifically to support high-volume regional workflows).

Validation on Administrative Names 🏷️

Fixed an issue where saving or renaming virtual agencies or templates could inadvertently save blank values. The system now enforces valid text strings.
