This release marks the continued development of the Estimator Workflow and introduces new procedural improvements to the cross-team collaboration process, specifically regarding the integration of the training team into the development lifecycle.

📊 Estimator Workflow

We have significantly advanced the Estimator module, transitioning it from a basic framework to a functional tool that supports end-to-end estimation.

Primary Estimate Functionality ⭐️

We have introduced "Primary Estimate" status. Users can now set a single primary estimate per project using a ⭐️ icon. We have also added confirmation prompts when changing or removing the primary estimate to prevent accidental overrides.

Expanded Functional Hierarchy ↘️

The estimator now supports the full hierarchy of Products, Phases, Tasks, and Line Items.

Note: The system now enforces strict hierarchical validation; users will receive an error if attempting to add items out of order.

New Data Fields 🔗
 

• Billing Model & Rate Region: Added type-ahead search fields (requiring 3+ characters) to support more accurate quoting.
   
• Automated Date Population: Start and end dates now auto-populate based on experience-level logic.

UI/UX Refinements 📏

Fixed modal sizing and alignment issues to ensure the "Create/Review" buttons remain stationary during the user flow, improving usability.

Enhancements to My Resource module 👤📅
 

• Navigation Fix: The "Return to Resources" button now correctly redirects users to the new Resource Scheduler view instead of the legacy version.
   
• Availability Warnings: Implemented a "Capacity Exceeded" warning modal. Users can now choose to "Review" (adjust) or "Continue" (override) when bookings exceed daily limits.
   
• Placeholder Bookings: Enabled the creation of placeholder bookings without requiring project-specific mandatory fields.
   
• Visual Consistency: Booking colors now dynamically reflect the color assigned to the corresponding Project, providing better visual cues on the scheduler.

• Moved the "Save" button to the header row in the expander menu for improved visual hierarchy.
• Optimized the "People" tab layout; team members now span the full width of the screen, removing inefficient vertical list stacking.
