# Slipstream: Create a Briefing

This guide outlines the process of creating a new Slipstream briefing in the OMG platform, from initial setup to final submission.

### **Creating a New Briefing**

-   Go to the Top Nav and open "My OMG" dropdown
-   Go to "My Briefs" to view your briefs listing
-   Click the "New Brief" button in the top right corner
-   From the drop-down menu, select "Slipstream" as your briefing type

### **Adding Briefing Content**

Choose your preferred input method:

-   Select your **business area** from the available options
-   **Type** your brief directly
-   **Dictate** your brief using voice input
-   **Upload** a file (supported formats include PDF, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, **with video and email coming soon.**
    -   If uploading, select your briefing file

The system will process your slipstream briefing in the background

### **Editing and Managing Your Brief**

Once created, you can edit and make adjustments to your brief

-   Save as a draft if you wish to continue editing later
-   Add people to your briefing to give them access
-   Upload relevant assets to the briefing
-   Add notes to the briefing (these will be visible to others consulting the brief)
-   Make changes at any time and save your amendments
-   Format it to you own preference

### **Final Actions**

-   Delete, duplicate, or download your briefing as needed
-   When you're satisfied with the brief, click the **"Submit"** button to send it to your team
