# Sharing content

Content can be shared in two ways. One to system users sharing a simple link to one or more assets, the other allowing you to share a download link to one or more assets to both System and Non-System users.

### **Send internal link (System users)**

-   Navigate to the asset you want to share.
-   From the **‘Actions’** menu, select **‘Send internal link’**.
-   Edit the **‘Subject’** and **‘Message’** content if required.
-   Select the recipients in the **‘People’** field or choose **‘Teams’** to share to.
-   Click **‘Share’**.
-   The recipient(s) will receive an email with links back to the assets.

### **Send external link (System and non-system users)**

-   Navigate to the asset you want to share.
-   From the **‘Actions’** menu, select **‘Send external link’**.
-   Edit the **‘Subject’** and **‘Message’** content if required.
-   Select the internal (system user) recipients in the **‘People’** field or choose **‘Teams’** to share to.
-   Add any non-system users by adding their email addresses in the **‘External recipients’** field.
-   Click **‘Share’**.
-   The recipient(s) will receive an email with a link to download the asset(s). Depending on the size of the asset(s) this could take some time, but will happen in the background so you can continue your other tasks.
