# Managing Plans and Tasks

### **Creating a project plan**

With every new project you create you may want to consider a project plan with a list of tasks and milestones.

-   Navigate to ‘Plans and Tasks’ and click **‘New…’** to add a Task or Milestone
-   Enter the relevant information and click **‘Save’**
-   Add all the required tasks
-   Assign the tasks as required using the **‘Assignee’** field

### **Using the Gantt view**

-   Click **‘View Gantt’** in the menu bar
-   You will be presented with your tasks displayed as a Gantt view
-   You can zoom in and out using the **‘Zooming’** level
-   Hover over a task or milestone to link it to another task to create dependancies
-   You can hover over a Task and drag the **‘% complete’** indicator to show how much of a Task has been completed
-   Click and hold on a Task to drag it to change it’s position
-   Click on the Start or End of a Task to adjust the start or end date
-   Click on a task to display a popup in which you can edit the Task information
